Conference on ‘Resilience of the Law’

Conference on ‘Resilience of the Law’

The law in turbulent times: In June 2015, Passau's Chair of Public Law, Media Law and Information Law organised a conference taking a new view on resilience, where the participating academics applied the concept to a legal context, asking questions such as: Which circumstances lead to a collapse of law and the legal system? Which factors can prevent or hinder the legal system from collapsing? How can the law be made resilient?

The event itself and the subsequent publication of the conference proceedings were funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation.
