The mentUP* diversity mentoring scheme is now open for applications from people belonging to minorities and/or other underrepresented groups, regardless of the faculty they’ve been assigned to. The application deadline is 1 July. Through the diversity mentoring programme mentUP*, the University of Passau intends to provide support to members of groups that are traditionally underrepresented at universities and in leadership positions. The mentoring scheme aims to motivate and prepare participants for a career in academia or in leadership and management.
Interested eligible students on master’s programmes, students who are about to take a state examination, doctoral students, postdocs, and candidates for habilitation are warmly invited to apply to the mentUP* diversity mentoring scheme. Currently, the scheme is looking for applications from potential mentees for the next iteration, which will start in October 2023 and last until October 2024.
