A festive organ concert at 14:30 in the University Church of St. Nikola will set the tone for the event.
The day's highlights will be the presentation of awards and distinctions earned in the course the last academic year, as well as a keynote speech. It is a great pleasure and honour to announce that Professor Walter Rosenthal, President of the German Rectors' Conference (Hochschulrektorenkonferenz), will be speaking about "Academic freedom. Thoughts to mark 75 years of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany".
