University elections: nominations still accepted until 15 May

You can still submit election proposals to the Election Office of the University of Passau until 15 May 2023 at 16:00. The election nomination form and further information on the 2023 university elections can be found on the Elections Office web page. We are looking forward to receiving your nominations!

In addition, we would like to draw your attention to the possibility of changing your faculty affiliation for voting purposes. To find out which faculty you are currently assigned to, check your enrolment certificate, which you can download from the University's Campus Portal. As it says on the Elections Office website: If a degree programme is administered by several faculties, the student is a member of the faculty that bears overall responsibility for the implementation of the degree programme the student is enrolled on. Students studying at different faculties usually choose at enrolment which faculty they wish to exercise their membership rights in.

However, you can change your faculty affiliation in the electoral register until the closing date by sending a written application to the Elections Office – room N12 117, Nikolastr. 12, 94032 Passau – or by emailing the completed and signed form to wahlamt@uni-passau.de. The Determination of Faculty Affiliation for Electoral Purposes Form can be found on the Elections Office web page under the heading "At which faculty am I entitled to vote?".
