Workshop 1: Critical Whiteness – an introduction to anti-racism and self-reflection [in German] (Stud.IP code 63030 W)
The Critical Whiteness workshop offers an introduction to the self-reflective examination of one's own whiteness and positioning. We explore our role in discriminatory systems and in our work and what privileges are associated with it. The aim is to think about one's own positioning interactively and with personal discussion to make power relations visible and to question (one's own) ways of thinking and acting. The workshop is aimed at white participants – i.e. people who are primarily not negatively affected by racism. No prior knowledge is necessary.
Date and format: via Zoom on Thursday, 25 November 2022 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
