From November 6 to 7, 2025 the VI. International and interdisciplinary Conference about AI in the Legal Didactics took place in Salzburg, Austria.
Mr. Michael Grantner (Professorship for Legal Informatics esp. Natural Language Processing) and Mr. Simon Alexander Nonn (Professorship of Public Law) participated and gave a presentation entitled "Artificial.Intelligent?Infallible? – AI-supported learning in public law”, sharing initial results of the work of both professorships on the development of AI-based approaches to support and improve legal teaching. The results are part of the project work within the framework of the “Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern” special funding program about enabling experimental approaches in online teaching. In addition to the technical specifics, the didactic considerations and application scenarios of the chatbot developed by the project team were presented and legal issues in this context were addressed.
Finally, potential options for further development and transferring the concept to other areas of higher education were discussed.
