Nora Nahr holds the Professorship of Legal Informatics esp. Natural Language Processing at the Faculty of Law (University of Passau). Prior to this, she worked as a research associate and postdoctoral researcher at the chair of Information Systems esp. Information and IT-Service Management (Prof. Franz Lehner) at the School of Business, Economics and Information Systems. There she taught lectures on topics including text mining and natural language processing, business intelligence and analytics, and knowledge and data management.
Nora Nahr’s research interests lie particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence and knowledge management and their adoption and application in organizational settings. She investigates efficient modes of collaboration to support knowledge work in (hybrid) teams and the use of natural language processing for legal scenarios. Her research has been published in publications outlets such as the Journal of Information Technology, the Electronic Markets, the Communications of the Association for Information Systems or the European Conference on Information Systems.
